Nicole's mothering journey continues through high school and college with her daughter, Miranda. This book also covers her experience as a sandwich generation, taking care of her father in his 90's, while being a mom. Each Chapter has a "Mom Lesson Learned." While Nicole never claims to be an expert at raising children, she and husband, Brad, have made it a priority to instill Christian values in their, now 23 year old. Life is challenging when you are both raising young adults, while caretaking your elderly parents. In today's crazy culture, Nicole wants to instill in mama's the importance of teaching biblical values from the beginning. Miranda has been in church her whole life. Nicole remembers rocking her as a tiny baby, while singing "Jesus Loves Me." Nicole and husband, Brad, reside in Olathe, Kansas. They love taking short trips together to explore new cities. In retirement, they hope to check off some bucket list items, such as some cruises, and international travel. Last summer, they took their first mission trip to the Roca Blanca Mission in Oaxaca, Mexico.
